A travelling exhibition from Sydney Living Museums.

A Convict in the Family? showcases the rich, large-scale photographs of documentary photographer Mine Konakci. The works explore the connections between convict settlers, their direct descendants and the petty crimes that changed the course of their shared histories.

Drawn from a diverse cross-section of ordinary Australians, sitters have been photographed in modern settings alongside a representation of the item or items stolen by their ancestors.
