Escape into a wintry faerie-tale this July.

River of Light 2017 - A magical Winter Festival of lights and inspiring performances, delicious local cuisine and ethereal lantern walks along the Yarra River, all hosted in Warburton, the hidden-gem of the Yarra Valley, on Saturday 29 July.

This heart-warming festival is an afternoon-evening event, running from 5:00pm to 10:00pm, held in the picturesque Warburton township and along the Yarra River, showcasing both the beauty of Warburton itself, as well as celebrating local businesses, producers and growers, in a family friendly community event.

Activities include:

Lantern Walk along the Yarra River, live music, poetry and storytelling, children's activities, seasonal community feast held in the heritage building of the Mechanics Hall, showcasing the produce of local Yarra Valley growers and farmers.

This event is a proud project of Bear and Moon Productions with Yarra Valley ECOSS, proudly supported by Bendigo Community Bank Yarra Junction and Warburton, and Yarra Ranges Council.
