The 2017 Australian Heritage Festival theme 'having a voice' shares the many heritage stories through different voices and recognising the many narratives that have shaped Victoria.

The Motorist Museum is located in beautiful Gembrook in the Dandenong Ranges. Visitors have the opportunity to learn how to enjoy the ownership and use of older vehicles including the basics of assembling and maintaining a collection.

The Motorist Museum has a collection of vintage vehicles, before, during and after restoration. The museum is adorned with nostalgia and memorabilia, something to delight all ages and makes for a great family day out.

Take in another heritage experience by making your way to Gembrook on Puffing Billy, Victoria's heritage steam train, leaving from Belgrave Station.
