Open Garden at Annie's Garden in Research

0418 442 785

6 - 7 May 2017

Come and visit this delightful one-acre garden in Research in its autumn splendour. The welcoming driveway is lined with crepe myrtles, native grasses and westringia leading to a garden with a rich combination of native and exotic plants, succulents and strappy plants.

The garden offers a variety of trees including crepe myrtles, pears, ornamental pomegranates, other fruit trees and a stunning forest pansy under a canopy of box and stringy bark. The beautiful trees are under-planted with salvias, euphorbias, spreading cyclamens and hellebores.

The house pergola is covered in a mixture of grape and three types of parthenosisis and close-by a Magnolia denudata makes a grand statement. The back of the house is dedicated to produce with a tiered garden for vegetables and trees, including crab apples and lilacs.
