Falls Creek has long been recognised as one of Australia’s premiere alpine resorts and winter playgrounds. Its magnificent terrain caters for beginners through to seasoned downhill and cross-country skiers along with snowboarders and telemark enthusiasts.

More recently, however, Falls Creek has been rediscovered as a year round, eco-friendly tourism hot spot. It offers a superb range of spring, summer and autumn activities and a full calendar of events and festivals.

  • Take a self-guided walk in the Bogong High Plains and discover historic cattlemen’s huts

How to get there
Falls Creek is located around 350 kilometres north-east of Melbourne. Travel north on the Hume Freeway to Wangaratta, then following through to Myrtleford, then Mount Beauty, then up the Bogong High Plains Road to Falls Creek Village.
