| Although Cafe Nova's menu offers few surprises, that doesn't stop its array of clientele - students, hippies, professionals and locals - from stopping by at all hours of the day for a quick sip or bite. Its black-painted awning is in the cool shade of Brunswick Street, where you'll often see relaxed smokers puffing away. The equally dark interior hints at Fitzroy's classic grunge past, but if you look under its gothic makeup you'll see the food and service are all sunshine. Cafe Nova's omelette is thick and delicious and every bit as big as the plate it arrives on. They also do a juicy cold punch, which is perfect for satisfying your vitamin C cravings.
