| Established in 1986, Thai Thani is a bit of a veteran of the Fitzroy dining scene. However, it's thankfully not stuck in a late '80s time warp, catering to untutored retro palates. Instead, this local institution serves up a great range of authentic Thai specialties, from spicy, sour soups to such distinctive dishes as gang panang (dry curry) or larp gai (minced chicken with chilli, lemon and mint leaves).
