Berwick is a popular destination for visitors on their way to the Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley. Founded in 1861 and set in a scenic backdrop of rolling hills, the town retains a sense of its beginnings, with many streets lined with mature English trees planted by early residents. North of Berwick are the Casey foothills, and beautiful natural bush dotted with birds, orchids and wildflowers.
