Birrarung Marr
Opened in 2002, Melbourne's Birrarung Marr is the city's newest park and over the last decade has become a popular meeting place for those in the innner city. It takes its name from the language of the indigenous Wurundjeri people – birrarung means 'river of mists' and marr is 'side'.
