- Stop at a local café for good coffee at Hurstbridge Post Office cafe, or have a lunch or dinner at Bridges Restaurant and Bar, made from mud brick. Whilst you are there visit the Bridges Nursery and Gallery
- Visit nearby boutique wineries at Cottles Bridge and Panton Hill.

Hurstbridge Wattle Festival
Board a K class steam locomotive and be set back in time as you journey from
Flinders Street to Hurstbridge and then enjoy the festivities at the annual
Hurstbridge Wattle Festival.
How to get there
Hurstbridge is approximately 45 minutes from Melbourne via the Eastern Freeway and Heidelberg-Kinglake Road and 40 minutes from Melbourne Airport via the Western Ring Road. Getting there by train takes 50 minutes on the Melbourne-Hurstbridge line.
