This year's Boxing Day test is between a resurgent India who takes on world champions Australia, in the first match in a series of four to decide the Border-Gavaskar trophy between the two countries. The test matches are followed by a triangular one-day series with Australia, India and Sri Lanka. There will also be Twenty-20 action in what is shaping up as a summer’s feast of cricket.
