Four-wheel driving Grampians
The vast sandstone mountains of the Grampians National Park boast a diverse terrain that is perfect for four-wheel driving. Explore rocky outcrops, clay and sand trails and an extensive road network. The nearby Little Desert National Park offers sand four-wheel driving, with some large sand dunes.

The Grampians is around a 3-hour drive from Melbourne along the Western Highway. The majority of access roads through the Grampians are sealed roads however there are plenty of 4WD tracks to explore.

Visit the Little Desert National Park to drive the sandy terrain. It is possible to reach most camp grounds in a 2WD, but the majority of trails are for 4WD and recovery gear should be carried.
