| The Rural City of Wangaratta encompasses the close surrounding townships of Oxley and Milawa (Milawa Gourmet Region), Moyhu, Cheshunt and Whitfield (the King Valley), Glenrowan (Ned Kelly Country), Eldorado (Goldmining), Boorhaman (Buffalo Brewery), Tarrawingee, Everton and Springhurst. Wangaratta itself provides the ideal base to tour the region with a broad selection of accommodation including motels/hotels, bed and breakfasts, caravan parks, self-contained properties and rural cottages.
