Strathvea B&B Guest House is a romantic mountain hideaway surrounded by rainforest less than 1.5 hours from central Melbourne and just minutes from Healesville, heart of the Yarra Valley.

Set in acres of magnificent garden, with a large shady verandah, three sitting rooms, open fires and elegant dining, heritage-listed Strathvea feels like a boutique hotel.

11 guest rooms offer both stylish contemporary and heritage-style accommodation and all guests enjoy the rich surrounds of the guest house and garden. Fabulous two-course country breakfasts are served in the dining room. Vibrant parrots and cockatoos feed outside the dining room windows where possums and sugar gliders also feast at night.

Strathvea is licensed and BYO (wine only) and a three-course dinner featuring regional produce is available on Saturday night for groups of six or more, however this must be booked 36 hours in advance.

Strathvea is perfect for secluded weekend escapes, memorable celebrations and getaways with family or friends or overnight stays.

Strathvea is a small function specialist and offers tailor-made packages for groups, weddings and conferences. Wine, wildlife and adventure tours can be arranged.
