*** The Marysville Visitor Information Centre was destroyed in the 2009 bushfires. A temporary site will be open soon, however STAFF CAN STILL BE CONTACTED by phone and email for any enquiries. *** The Visitor Information Centre is conveniently located in the centre of the village of Marysville. It is staffed by local volunteers, from 9am to 5pm every day, except Christmas Day. Information and advice is available on a wide variety of accommodation; guest houses, hotels, motels, B&B's, caravan parks, and self contained cottages. The area covered is Marysville, Narbethong, Buxton, Taggerty and Lake Mountain. The Yarra Ranges National Park is a major attraction, with spectacular waterfalls, and over 40 kms of walking trails close to Marysville. Nearby Lake Mountain offers world class cross-country skiing, and is the closest consistent snow fields to Melbourne. Enjoy the scenery, the shopping, the restaurants and cafes. It's time to come up for fresh air. Phone or email for information. |
