White Rose Cottage

Our generously sized Edwardian style cottage is situated on 43 acres and just a few minutes drive from the Healesville shops, restaurants and the Yarra Valley Wineries and RACV Country Club and Healesville Sanctuary.

The cottage comprises a large main bedroom with a Queen sized four poster bed, parquetry flooring. Off the main bedroom is a large full ensuite with 2 person spa and valley views.

The second bedroom has a Queen sized bed with built in robes and enchanting mountain views.

The third bedroom can have either 2 single beds or a King sized double,depending on your needs. There's also a built in robe.

The fourth bedroom has a double bunk.

The open plan family room comes complete with a vaulted Baltic pine lined ceiling, parquetry flooring,cosy gas log fire, 68cm TV complete with DVD/home theatre.

A kitchen setting for six looks out on to extensive gardens and bird feeder, popular with the local parrots. The kitchen features Bosch cooking appliances, a microwave and dishwasher.

A separate formal dining room has a gas fire and an 8 seat dining suite and chaise lounge.

All rooms have ducted air conditioning.

Located a few steps from the back door is a romantic "sleep-out" with a double bed, toilet and air conditioner.

The sheltered outdoor living area has a gas barbecue,comfortable seating and uninterrupted views to the mountains beyond.

Our property backs on to the State Forest with direct foot access to the walking tracks. A large mob of kangaroos feed most mornings and afternoons in our back paddock and at night we have wombats doing what wombats do. King Parrots and Rosellas can be hand fed on the verandah.

The views from the house and grounds are stunning and uninterrupted. The silence, peace and tranquillity are refreshing to the soul.
