DAY ONE - MELBOURNE

Melbourne's Chinatown is the longest surviving Chinatown in Australia, dating back to the 1850's. Located centrally in Little Bourke Street between Swanston and Spring Streets, it offers a wide variety of cultural experiences within a unique heritage setting.

DAY TWO - DAYLESFORD
Morning
Depart for the Daylesford region of Victoria, a leisurely 90 minute drive from Melbourne.

Daylesford is the country town of choice when looking for a bit of peace and quiet. With tranquil rural atmosphere, massages, facials and spas, which are all the order of the day. Nearby Hepburn Springs has the largest concentration of mineral springs in Australia and has long been noted for its healing and therapeutic qualities.

Lavandula Swiss Italian Farm

Lavandula Swiss Italian Farm grows premium lavender, oils and grapes. Italian speaking Swiss, who came to Daylesford in search of gold, built the stone farm buildings in the 1850s. Wander through neatly patterned lavender fields, and herb and cottage gardens, browse through a large range of home grown lavender products in the Lavandula shop, or eat at the licensed La Trattoria cafe, serving light lunches and delicious teas, utilising their own and other local produce.

The Lake House

Dinner at The Lake House is a 'must'. The multi-award winning Lake House oozes style and city sophistication in a stunningly beautiful country setting with luxury service and comfort. A choice of two wines are recommended with each of the quality dishes on the menu.

DAY THREE - DAYLESFORD AND MELBOURNE

Tuki Retreat is a tranquil rural retreat, set on an historic 1850s sheep station, featuring extraordinary panoramic views and ponds prolific with rainbow trout. Cast a line and have your catch cooked and served, with all the trimmings in the restaurant or enjoy some of their superb roast lamb. Make sure you also take home some of the delicious trout pate to enjoy later.

At the end of the days touring, return to Melbourne.
