Located in Victoria's beautiful high country Buttercup Cottage was established in 1998 providing one of the few five star cottage bed and breakfast experiences in the state.

This luxuriously appointed stone cottage provides absolute privacy without the pressures or noise of the city. Relax in the corner spa, curl up in front of the wood fire in winter or laze around on the wide verandahs at other times or the year enjoying the scenery and stunning sunsets. Delicious breakfast choices provided, for you to cook and enjoy for yourselves when you feel like it.

The two cottage bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, one with spa bath and one shower bathroom suitable for people with disabilities.

The well appointed kitchen, including dishwasher, means you can hibernate away and cater for yourselves if you wish.

Satellite television, video recorder and CD stereo system are all provided for your convenience.

The guest house/apartment opened in 1990 providing guests with 4.5 star accommodation including corner spa, wood fire, air conditioning, spacious deck on which to spend your afternoons or cook and eat a barbecue meal. You have exclusive use of the apartment which offers two bedrooms and well appointed kitchen. Satellite television and video recorder with selection of tapes and CD stereo system provided.

Nearby is horse riding, the delightful Delatite River for fishing, an hotel for an excellent country counter meal, and access to Mts Buller and Stirling, both well known for their winter snow skiing and off season, walking, bike riding, wild flowers and stunning views of the Great Divide. Clear Hills on Mt Stirling is the home of the last remaining film set from the Man From Snowy River Movies, Craig's Hut. We can organise four wheel drive tours for you between November and May.
