Dining – Grampians

Famous for its scenic beauty and great climate, the Grampians region is a good place to dine alfresco. Enjoy a barbecue with the resident kangaroos at Zumsteins Picnic Ground, or pack a hamper and enjoy the many picnic areas in the national park.

There are a number of good cafés, coffee shops and bakeries in towns throughout the region. Call in at The Vines in Ararat to try the extensive range of regional food and wine products, Café Baghdad in Horsham, a quirky café that also showcases artworks, or The Strand in Hamilton, with its beautiful English garden.
