This 3.5 star AAA Rated park is situated on the Great Ocean Road in Peterborough, right on the banks of the Curdies River Inlet, next to the bridge and opposite the hotel. This area is very popular with fishermen for estuary and surf fishing, cray fishing and diving. The sandy beach at the mouth of the river is a popular spot for swimmers of all ages.

Peterborough is a small coastal township with excellent facilities, including children’s playground, BBQ area, tennis courts and vantage points for viewing the mighty Southern Ocean. Peterborough Golf club boasts a challenging nine hole golf course along the cliff tops.

There is General Store and Post Office, Licensed grocer & Hotel with great bistro meals right opposite the caravan park.

Port Campbell National Park is adjacent and features the famous 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, London Bridge, the Arch and many other spectacular coastal features unique to this area. The Bay of Islands and Bay of Martyrs are also a 'must see'. There are numerous shipwreck sites along the coast also with the nearby Shipwreck Coast Maritime Museum in Warrnambool putting on a fantastic sound and light show. The Otway Fly treetop walk is only a short drive away.
