The introductory course is designed to show you all the basics of sailing and is an inexpensive way to check out the sport. It's a great day out and an affordable way not only to go for a sail but to learn how to sail and experience the freedom associated with sailing.

 4 Hour ( Half day) minimum

LEARN TO SAIL AND 'TRY SAILING': Our ‘learn to sail’ instruction rates start at $25.00 per hour per person* with that you get to sail a boat and learn how to sail, that’s cheaper than going down to the local water way and hiring a yacht, catamaran or windsurfer and be left to fend for yourself.

Fun Sail: A 2 Hour 'Fun' sail where you get to see Melbourne and The Docklands from the water and actually steer and sail the boat. Fantastic as a fun tour activity or the perfect introduction for preparing to charter your own boat. A great Gift Voucher for visitors, friends or family new to or those visiting Melbourne. Note: Tours need a minimum of six participants, ask about our wait list. Please call 0425752745 or email Tony to discuss or organise a sail. All lessons must be paid for at the time of booking. No refunds for cancellations.We will postpone to another date by arrangement. In case of severe and adverse weather you will need to ring to confirm on the day that the lesson is still going ahead. Dockland Sailing School is responsible for making the final decision. As a general rule we sail in all weather conditions. This helps prepare sailors with the necessary skills to 'survive' a sudden 'blow' or make the most out of what nature presents.
