NICAN, a Commonwealth funded information service, maintains a database of nearly 4,500 entries on accommodation, organisations, activities, services, etc for people with a disability. They respond to requests on an individual basis, searching their database and other sources to find the information required.

It is said that Melbourne is the sports capital of Australia. You can participate in sports activities or attend some of the many world famous sporting events held in Victoria. The MCG has international cricket and the Australian Football League (AFL); there is the Formula One Grand Prix at Albert Park and the Spring Racing Carnival at Flemington. We also have the Australian Tennis Open at Melbourne Park and the Melbourne Storm play Rugby League at Olympic Park.
