A highlight of the popular Lilly Pilly Gully walk is its absorbing nature trail. The path provides an excellent introduction to the valley's bird and plant life, and shows you the best places to view the local koalas, as well as the homes of the area's yabbies. See where a blackwood tree has grown on a soft tree fern and where fires raged in 1951. The track then begins to rise toward the eucalypts.
