Fernglade on Menzies B&B

An elegant residence nestled in tall trees in a secluded location 3km from Emerald, with grace and charm of a bygone era. Adjacent to Emerald -Kallista walking track-a birdwatchers paradise.

The luxury spa suites overlook a picturesque lake with an abundance of wildlife and the self contained suites are in a garden setting with gazebo and BBQ facilities.  There is private guest parking for each of the four suites.

Step back in time to the old world charm of the Melba and Edison suites; be pampered in our luxury spa suites with romantic gas log fires. Melba has an antique four poster bed. 

Both suites have twin corner spas in large tiled bathrooms with separate showers and separate toilets, a dining table inside the suite and outside the private entrance on the veranda, tea and coffee making facilities and fridges. Edison has an adjacent full suite which is available for extra guests.

Charman and Brookdale suites are less luxurious but very comfortable.  They have queen beds plus a double sofa bed in each.  There is a dining table, a mini kitchen with microwave and sandwich toaster, and bathrooms with roomy showers.

Come to Fernglade on Menzies to be pampered - old fashioned service - home made treats like shortbread or muffins for afternoon tea on arrival, dinners by arrangement (just ask Helen to email menu suggestions so that you can plan your special dinner); enjoy freshly squeezed orange juice, cereal and a wide selection of cooked breakfasts, served in the privacy of your suite or on the veranda.  Order picnic hampers or cheese platters which include home made Scottish oatcakes. 

Groups can be accommodated in the dining room or home theatre/conference facility which seats 12.  We can arrange relaxation massage, chocolates, champagne, flowers and more all for your enjoyment!
