The Arts Centre occupies a prime location in the heart of Melbourne's leisure and entertainment precinct and is home to Australia's premier performing arts companies. The Arts Centre consists of the Theatres Building (under the spire), Hamer Hall and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Close to all major city hotels, the centre is an easy walk across Princess Bridge, and the landmark spire attracts locals and visitors day and night. The Centre is open daily with nightly shows, daily guided tours, free gallery spaces, a Sunday art and craft market and a restaurant and cafe. WHAT TO DO Guided Tours Guided tours depart from the Theatres Building Information Desk (St Kilda Road Level). Monday - Saturday at 11am Every Sunday 10am - 5pm in the undercroft of Hamer Hall and along St Kilda Road. |
