- Picnic or swim at one of the 103 sandy beaches along the Murray River between Yarrawonga and Barmah. The biggest and most accessible is Thompsons Beach at Cobram

- Take a river cruise, departing most of the year on a daily basis from Thompsons Beach

How to get there
Cobram-Barooga is just under 3 hours from Melbourne, along the Hume Highway, then following the Goulburn Valley Highway through Shepparton and Numurkah. A bus and train service departs Melbourne daily.
