Events in the Grampians
The Grampians region hosts plenty of colourful events throughout the year so make sure you check the local event calendar when planning your visit.
The best known event is the Stawell Easter Gift. Held every year since 1878, the meet is renowned internationally as the world's leading professional foot race. Another highlight in the calendar is the Grampians Grape Escape Food and Wine Festival in May, a wonderful celebration of local food and wine and music set against the spectacular backdrop of the Grampians National Park.
