Bryce Gorge is not only Victoria’s most impressive ravine, it is also showered by two of the state’s finest waterfalls, the Pieman and Conglomerate. It is only a short walk through a forest of snow gums from the car park to the gorge, where the pools above Pieman Falls are cool and refreshing on a warm day. The return trail passes Guys Hut, a cattlemen’s shelter built using the old ‘chock and log’ method.
