Lake Gallery

Lake Gallery, a contemporary fine art gallery, is on the water's edge in Paynesville and offers luxurious accommodation for adults surrounded by artworks and views of the Gippsland Lakes.

Each spacious suite is hung with works from the gallery or current exhibition and has a gas log fire to warm you on winter evenings. The suites are exceptionally well appointed and have TV, VCR and CD player, king size bed with twin spa in the ensuite.

Breakfast in the gallery, or on your own verandah overlooking the water. Enjoy restful lakeside walks into town, local wineries, water sports, cycle through the area on guest bicycles or take a boat cruise from our jetty!  Wildlife abounds in the gardens with kangaroos and echidnas being regular visitors, sea eagles and pelicans float by overhead with garden bird life being abundant. Koalas are easily found on nearby Raymond Island. The Lakes are excellent for fishing and the boating is safe on the biggest inland lake system in Australia. A boat trip is the ideal way to explore the 90 Mile Beach and see the rich bird life of the lake inlets and beaches.

Paynesville is ideally placed to explore East Gippsland being at the epicentre of the Lakes.  It is well served by restaurants and cafes in town with more being close by in Bairnsdale together with a cinema, indigenous cultural centre and public art gallery.

Lake Gallery does not take pets and is not suitable for children.
