Dinosaur Dreaming - Inverloch

Dinosaur Dreaming
On a stretch of beach just a few kilometres outside Inverloch Bunurong Marine Park is home to Dinosaur Dreaming. Co-discoverer and Geologist Mike Cleeland works with a team made up of trained volunteers and students from Monash University as they search for fossils over 115 million years old. When the tide goes out, the team goes to work, and over a six week period they'll collect enough fossil samples to keep the Melbourne Museum busy for the rest of the year. And so far their collection is very impressive.

Kayak fishing at Inverloch

Sea Kayak Fishing
What's the old saying? The early bird catches the worm. Well just on sunrise at the Inverloch foreshore Gorgi was not catching worms but going Sea Kayak fishing. The Eskimos cottoned on to kayak fishing hundreds of years ago because this mode of transport is so quite and kayak's get into spots where bigger boats can't. Running into the mouth of Bass Strait Anderson's Inlet is a favourite fishing spot for locals. Gorgi takes a tour with the experts from Rob Bending's World of Fishing.
