The Sunday Community Market features quality handmade crafts, giftware, beauty products, plants, clothing and gourmet delights. Food and market stalls also operate throughout the Festival weekend.
The Festival Train – a steam-powered moving venue on train tracks - makes a 45-minute round trip of live blues acts throughout daylight hours of the Festival.
Adding to the unique nature of the musical and aesthetic experience, a trip on the Festival Blues Train also offers a great break from the rest of the Festival. Trains depart on the hour. Admission costs to the Festival Train are included in Festival tickets.
For many years, the Queenscliff Music Festival has defined “local” as embracing the Bellarine, Geelong and Victorian south-west coastal regions. This geographical “songline” pinpoints a discernible music community which the Festival is proud to have both directly, and indirectly, nurtured.
We used to name one of our venues the “Live ‘n’ Local” stage, but this year decided to do away with it as it seemed to suggest that all our local talent was restricted to a single venue. Not the case!
