Going to Mt Baw Baw or Mt St Gwinear? Erica Ski Hire can supply you with your XC skis, toboggans, snow shoes and wheel chains for both 2WD and 4WD vehicles.

Conveniently situated on the way to Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort and Mt St Gwinear snowfields, Erica Ski Hire has XC skis, toboggans, snow shoes and wheel chains for both 2WD and 4WD. 

Diamond pattern chains are recommended for both 2WD and 4WD when visiting Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort. We also have a range of gloves and beanies for sale.

Try the alternative route from Melbourne ~ follow the Princes Highway to Moe, turn left to the Erica road.  Make sure you call in and see us for your wheel chains. They are compulsory! 

With the spectacular South Face road now open, you have the choice of Mt St Gwinear or Mt Baw Baw. The South Face road is unsealed, but it provides all weather access without the steep gradients or sharp hairpin bends. 

The new road joins the Baw Baw Road at the relocated ticket box at Neulynes Mill. Take it slowly and enjoy the views. They are breathtaking!

Visit Mt St Gwinear snowfields, no lifts, no snowboarding, no downhill skiing, no shops, no cafes, and just $10 entry into the National Park.  

The most inexpensive way to introduce the little ones to the snow.

You can even ski or snow shoe across the 9kms to Mt Baw Baw Village for lunch or book into the variety of accommodation options at the Village and stay the night.
