It’s time to get on your bike; choose between two rides…
- 35km ride – a leisurely amble along Rutherglen’s country roads visiting 7 wineries along the way.
- 55km ride – a slightly more challenging ride covering a little more distance in the first leg.

Chambers Rosewood to find out just how you do prenounce Gouais, Rutherglen Estates to sample the ‘new age’ Italian variety Sangiovese, Pfeiffer Wines to discover all there is to know about the family’s favourite wine variety – Gammay, Anderson Winery for a rare opportunity to sample Sparkling Chenin Blanc, Jones Winery to rediscover an old favourite with a new twist; Dry Apero on crushed ice, and Lake Moodemere Vineyard to uncover what it is the Biancone ‘following’ love so much about this unique variety. Lake Moodemere also provides the perfect picturesque setting for our picnic lunch.

Join the ‘bunch’ for a delicious 3 course meal prepared by the renown Pickled Sisters Café. Held in majestic Cofield Wine’s Cellar, the dinner includes drinks on arrival with a selection of additional Rutherglen Wines available to purchase at special prices. During the course of the evening, the winners of the yellow and green jerseys will be announced.A shuttle bus service will be available to take you to and from the dinner.
Join the locals as we visit a couple of additional wineries and stop for lunch before heading back with plenty of time to spare for the journey home. Setting off at 9am, the bunch will visit two wineries, Mt Prior Vineyard and St Leonards Vineyard, before arriving at the ‘Wicked Virgin’ at around 1pm. Following some sampling of local olive oil and fresh olives, platters featuring regional produce will be served for lunch.
