Melbourne has some of the best pizza restaurants in the world. Whether it's authentic Italian, woodfire or 'Aussie' versions that you're afer then I reckon you can find them in this city.
From Bimbo Deluxe on Brunswick street in Fitzroy- the best place in the world to get unusual pizzas (including yummy yummy chocolate pizza and another one- caesar salad pizza) at a very cheap price.
And then to one of my all time favourites in Moonee Ponds- Il Caminetto. Il Caminetto's woodfire delcacies just melt in your mouth. I love the authentic ham (none of that shredded stuff thanks) and all the other real toppings.
Another of my all time favourite's has to be Pizzaeria Amici on Burgundy Street in Heidelberg. The place may look small but the flavour will leave you desperate for more every single time. Just be sure to make a booking!
They say pizza isn't good for you but I say stuff 'em because they don't know what they're talking about!
