When Hollywood celebrities are strolling on the red carpet, Melbournians are chasing the red thread in every direction.
January: When Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz broke off, Melbournians were smashing their way through the gates to cheer on the Australian Open at Rod Lava Arena.
February: When the rumors started about Britney Spears driving with her son on her lap, Melbournians kicked back at the 'Moonlight Cinemas' at the Botanical Gardens.
March: When Angelina Jolie adopted another child from Vietnam, Melbournians raced their hearts out at the 'Grand Prix' at Albert Park.
April: When Ashley Simpson defended her plastic surgery rumor, Melbournians laughed their lungs out at the 'Comedy Festival' at Town Hall.
May: When Hollywood huddles around Lindsay Lohan, Melbournians were circling around the 'Giant Sky Wheel' at birrarung.
June: When Paris Hilton was in jail, Melbournians gathered to celebrate the 'Pixar 20 years Anniversary' at Federation Square.
July: When Usher and Tameka cancelled their wedding, Melbournians joined in the fun with Disney One-Ice production 'Finding Nemo' at Rod Lava Arena.
August: When Victoria Beckam is causing a drama filming her own reality TV show, Melbournians skied up high to Mt. Bulla to make the most out of the winter times.
I will continue to chase the red thread for more thrills and excitment all across Victoria, which would you rather chase?

It sounds very exciting because it's true we are always wrapped up about what's going with Hollywood when we have our own excitment here in Melbourne!
