l was lucky enough to be taken to Carlton by my freind who lives in Melbourne.
My first reaction was, this is neat , with its old stone houses in the side streets , busy famous Lygon street, its a must to visit , not forgetting all those italian resterants!.

But there was one place that caught my eye, Brunetti,
194-204 Faraday street.
Dragging my friend along l insisted we went there more than once.

It first captured me by its ornate building it sits in, loverly stone work above ,that the city has so much of.
Part of the shop has a cafe ,it is a must to have a coffee and try to pick a cake from the array of mouth watering cakes and danishs,.
This in itself seemed to transport me to far off places in Europe as it ozzes all things italian.

The second part of the shop is for looking and of corse buying as it stocks cakes for all ocassions and more smaller ones for eating ,not many l would think would make it home.!

As we sat drinking our coffee, the best lve had , whatching all the people come and go ,enjoying the best danish lve ever had, thinking this city ,well it doesnt get much better than this !.

We love yah Melbourne, and this really was the icing on the cake for me!.
