I haven't been in Melbourne for some years.
I have wonderful memories of the tram rides, walking long the coast at St. Kilda & the delicious cakes & coffee in Ackland Street - those were memorable treats. Melbourne is blessed with so much variety from all the multi-cultural food - a highlight of any visit.
Shopping & bargain hunting is another attraction with so many outlets everywhere. We usually end up staggering along with so many shopping bags from all our forays.
The when all is said & done, it's so relaxing to drive up to the Dandenongs for leisurely sightseeing.
To see "Wicked" would be a wonderful experience, & to do the Wine Tour in the Yarra Valley would be a superb Finale to any visit to Melbourne.
If time permitted, a drive to Phillip Island would be an added bonus.
