How to get there

Mount Buffalo is approximately a four-hour trip from Melbourne. Take the Hume Highway towards Wangaratta. Turn off at the Snow Road (Great Alpine Road no. B500), which is 11 kilometres past the two BP service stations on either side of the highway, just outside Glenrowan. Follow the Great Alpine Road to Porepunkah where you will come to a large roundabout. At the roundabout turn right to Mount Buffalo Resort. Chains must be carried during the declared snow season.
