Colonial Motel Omeo

Welcome to the Omeo Colonial Motel. Located in the centre of historic Omeo, the motel has four suites set back from the road in landscaped surroundings and is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day’s travel or sightseeing around our beautiful region.

The motel is owned and managed by husband and wife team, Stephen and Lynn Cohen who are committed to making your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. All the suites have double beds, kitchenette and lounge facilities and have been recently re-decorated. Stephen and Lynn also manage Mesley’s Restaurant, opposite the motel- offering a range of delicious, high quality meals and selection of wines in a warm and inviting atmosphere, Mesleys also offers specially prepared breakfasts which include freshly baked bread and locally sourced produce.  

The Omeo Colonial Motel is the perfect base for travellers. It is forty minutes from Dinner Plain Alpine village and fifty minutes from Mount Hotham ski resort. There is also great fishing to be had in the creek that flows through Omeo town or out on the Mitta Mitta River about forty minutes drive away. Omeo is conveniently located mid way between Bright and Lakes Entrance/ Bairnsdale, on the Great Alpine Road.
