| This general theme tour of the historic Cheltenham Pioneer Cemetery features many important figures in Victoria's history, including the most notorious land boomer from the 1880s and '90s, the first chairman of the Country Roads Board (VicRoads), the 'father' of Sandringham, pioneers from Brighton, Moorabbin, Cheltenham and Dingley, a well-known artist featured on the Bayside artists trail, a decorated military figure, the founder of Victoria's Maternal and Child Health Centres and three tragic events from Caulfield, Ormond and Prahran. |
