The decor at Asakusa is neat and basic, with the clean minimalism and odd quirky touches (spot the traditional waving-cat figurines) marking it as a Japanese noshery before the menu is even glimpsed. The menu doesn't disappoint, with plenty of familiar Japanese favourites represented. Asakusa's versions of these dishes bear no comparison to the dry sushi rolls that many are sadly used to. Instead, sample rich salmon skin rolls (raw salmon, crispy salmon skin and avocado) or neat little gyoza.
