Marysville
Marysville is a village for all seasons, nestled in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range only 100 kilometres east of Melbourne. It's cool, calm and inviting in summer, features magnificent scenery and colour in spring and autumn and is a cosy hideaway in winter. Marysville was established in 1863 as a stop for prospectors en route to the nearby Woods Point gold diggings. Today the town has a more restful countenance, famous for its tree shrouded streetscapes. The area's long tradition of welcoming visitors continues today. At day's end you'll appreciate why Marysville's warm hospitality is so enticing.

Steavensons Falls
Steavensons Falls is located four kilometres outside Marysville, in the Marysville State Forest. The magnificent waterfall is a whopping 84 metres tall. By day the waterfall is picturesque and by night it has its own floodlight system.
