The minimal wine list might disappoint vino obsessives, but here it's all about the cocktails. A small sign on the window states "we may not speak good Italian, but we speak a damn good martini" and they definitely do that and more. Try the Moulin Rouge, a Parisian-inspired blend of absinthe, Campari, Cointreau, grenadine and cranberry; or the Metrosexual (lychee liqueur, pink vodka, Absolut Citron and Mandrin, lime, passionfruit and mandarine syrup).

The crowd is as broad as the drinks selection, from students (who revel in the beer options, including Mountain Goat, Bees Neez and James Squire) to a more mature set, slinking in for a sophisticated after-dinner drink. The signature sweet tipple is undeniably the rich and creamy Death By Tim Tam - a sweet muddle of Baileys, vanilla vodka, butterscotch schnapps, creme de cacoa, crushed Tim Tams, ice cream and milk.
