Coming from Melbourne, continue past the Phillip Island turn off on the Bass Highway, straight ahead into Wonthaggi. Follow the yellow and blue i signs. Turn right down South Dudley Road, right at the roundabout and then take your first left. We are located at the V-Line bus stop, between the courthouse and the library.

National Vietnam Veterans MuseumThe newly re-opened National Vietnam Veterans Museum is Australia’s only museum dealing solely with all aspects of our longest war. Displays include memorabilia, photographs, equipment used by Australian troops, a Huey Cobra attack helicopter and an evocative holographic presentation. Museum, café and shop are open 7 days a week.
The Inverloch Jazz Festival is held over the Labour Day long weekend in March. It consists of more than 100 hours of programmed jazz performed in at least four indoor venues, plus a Friday night Grand Opening, a Street Parade, Jazz Church Service, and a Picnic in the Park.
State Coal MineA visit to the State Coal Mine at Wonthaggi is a journey back to the difficult working conditions of mining days past. Preserved by Parks Victoria for future generations, this original mine site gives visitors an understanding of the life of a miner seventy years ago.
