Powerworks

Join us on our special PowerWorks tours of working brown coal mines and power stations. Whilst in the mine, you will gain an understanding of the sheer size and scale of mining. Boilers, turbines, generators and all of the ancillary equipment is on full display while you walk through an operating power station. Tour duration is generally two hours and run between 11am and 2pm weekdays and weekends during school and public holidays.

No need to book, just arrive a little earlier than these times to browse through our centre and enjoy the many varied and interesting interactive models and information displays.
