Rodondo

This historic home close to the harbour has been meticulously restored to provide affordable luxury accommodation for the modern traveller. 

Once the residence of a Port Albert fishing family, Rodondo offers guests a taste of the town’s maritime history, along with every modern comfort and facility, including wireless internet access.

Relax on comfy sofas in the living room, peruse baskets overflowing with books, or gaze out through the wall of French windows opening onto the sunny deck to glimpse the sea beyond. Late in the afternoon, sip your favourite beverage on the sunny verandah and watch the world go slowly by.  In the kitchen, which overlooks the harbour, a long farmhouse table is set around with antique country chairs. 

Freshly squeezed orange juice, home-grown tomatoes, free-range eggs straight from the farm and muffins straight from the oven are just some of the goodies on offer for breakfast, along with the morning papers. Rodondo is so good, so welcoming and so laid back, you will just have to stay a second night.The Bed and Breakfast offers Queen, King, Family or Twin bed options, all with ensuite bathrooms. Wireless Internet access is available free of charge to all guests.  

Families are welcome at Rodondo. Children can be accommodated on a fold out bed, or opt for the Family room which accommodates four people.  For the budget minded, the Seaside Cabin is nestled in the garden at the rear of Rodondo Bed and Breakfast. The Seaside Cabin offers a fresh, cosy and cost effective self contained option for up to three people. The cabin is a single room with a kitchen, a double bunk bed, and a new, external bathroom.  

Barbeque facilities are available for all guests at Rodondo, or eat at the local hotel or cafes.
