| Husband and wife team Peter and Birgit Weir have combined their talents and international experience to create a cafe full of character. Set in a renovated Victorian with a hint of intentionally dishevelled charm, Beaumont's is one of Rutherglen's little treasures. Peter Weir toils away in the kitchen on creations like the veal rib eye steak on a hash brown with a porcini mushroom cream sauce, while up front, Birgit plays the gracious host and offers her informed opinion on a suitable wine to accompany your meal.
