| With a chef who nearly snagged the 2004 Victorian Food and Wine Festival's best pizza-maker gong, this restaurant deserves a visit, even if it's just to see what all the fuss is about. The signature slice here is the Blue Room special: shaved Virginia ham, mushrooms, kalamata olives, pepperoni, tomatoes and roasted capsicum. The restaurant's selection of local and NZ wines starts at just $5.50 a glass. If you prefer to sample the restaurant's other Mediterranean-influenced dishes, there's a selection of traditional pastas, risotti, meats and even a small oyster bar. Really, though, you must try the pizza first.
