NMIT Yarra Valley Cup

Enjoy a great day out at the NMIT Yarra Valley Cup on Sunday 21 March 2010 at the Yarra Glen racecourse. With great local foods, wine and racing, there’s plenty to entertain.

The feature event of the 9 race program will be the $83,000 NMIT Yarra Valley Cup. Another racing feature will be the $52,000 Balgownie Estate Melba Plate.

A highlight of the day will be the specially created Food & Wine Avenue offering a taste of the Yarra Valley. The Avenue will showcase sensational Yarra Valley produce, as well as a variety of award winning Yarra Valley Wines. It’s the perfect opportunity to taste the best the Yarra Valley has to offer, or simply picnic on the lawns with a glass of wine while enjoying a great days racing.

Visitors can also relax and listen to the tunes of the live band, or for the fashion conscious there is the Fashions on the Field competition with great prizes to be won.

Kids have not been forgotten with FREE entry and FREE kids’ entertainment including a jumping castle, chair-o-plane, pony rides and animal farm.
