Casbak Alpine Units

Casbak Alpine Units are set within three acres of European trees and gardens which allows plenty of space for all our guests.  The trees and gardens attract a large array of birds and wild life. AAA 3.5 Stars, fully self contained 1 & 2 Bedroom Units. Units have DVDs, gas heating and electric blankets. All towels, linen and bedding supplied. We have a guest’s laundry with washing drying and iron facilities.

Blackwood Lodge sleeps 14 24 sq. Three bedroom house, two bathrooms, three toilets, kitchen with dishwasher, two dining areas, two living areas, bar , sunroom, laundry, covered outdoor area and BBQ.

We are situated in the centre of Harrietville, with easy access to the general store, cafes and hotels for meals, coffees and entertainment. Harrietville has local walks, and a historical museum, for those looking for a touch of the past Gold mining era.

The Trout farm is an ideal place to go to entertain the kids catching their own tea to cook on the under cover gas BBQs on the Ovens River at Casbak. The solar heated pool, playground, badminton and recreation room allows hours of entertainment for the kids whilst Mum & Dad relax with a book or a wine from one of the many wineries in the High country region, all within an hours drive.

If you are after a more physical holiday, there is always the opportunity for 4 wheel drive tours. Or you may bring your bikes and challenge yourself on the mountain roads or a walk across Mt Feathertop.

There is plenty to do with trout fishing, bike riding, 4 wheel driving, cycling, micro flights, bush walking, visits to deer, trout , lavender & berry farms, National Parks, wineries, Mt Hotham, Mt Buffalo and Falls Creek ski resorts.
